Parking Details

This is a touching (not really) and satirical look at working on the parking detail of Spring Branch Community Church. As soon as I finished my first (and possibly last after they read this) job on the detail, I knew that here was an inspirational story for all. Or just another excuse to write a dopey story that would bring me happiness and tired muscles. Thanks to Jerry G. and the boys of the detail.

John, you are not only a man but a man with words. Those that are fortunate enough to be invited to "the Lot" have been long frustratated in their difficulty in finding the words to express their feelings about the experience. I commend your depiction on behalf of all that have served before you and after because until now the story could never be told. Your help was greatly appreciated. Sincerely,
Robert Thoma

Hey guys,

Thanks for the comments! Holy crap, Dick Cook passed it on and now a lot of folks have had the misfortune of listening. I'll pray for them all!

Robert, thanks for admitting that I am "not only a man..." That is somehow beautiful and I may have to use that in a story, my friend.
